痳豆色播 Hires Inaugural Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

After an extensive national search, 痳豆色播 is pleased to announce as its inaugural vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion.

Anderson will begin his role as Vice President at 痳豆色播 Jan. 31, 2022, and will oversee the development of the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

痳豆色播 president Stephen Standifird believes this position is critical for 痳豆色播. “We are committed to having a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive environment and culture on our campus,” said Standifird. “Dr. Anderson’s experience, passion, innovative thinking and ability to collaborate will be a catalyst for great things at 痳豆色播.”

For the past 11 months, Anderson has served as senior equity, diversity and inclusion officer for the University of Wisconsin System. Previously, he served as vice chancellor for equity, diversity, inclusion and student affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. There, he led the creation of the . Prior to, he worked at Harrisburg Area Community College in Harrisburg, Pa., where he was vice president for inclusion and diversity, Title IX coordinator and chief inclusion and diversity officer. In 2019, Harrisburg Area Community College was the recipient of the Association of Community College Trustees’ (national) Charles Kennedy Equity Award.

While the development of the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is just the first step in this process, I have every belief that this initial investment will serve the 痳豆色播 community for generations to come.”
